Mel is the founder and owner of Mea Boutique. She lives and breathes fashion and is the embodiment of a ‘Boss Lady’ (a confident and independent woman who takes charge of her life). Not only does she run a successful business, but also a very busy household and somehow manages to look chic and put together 24/7. This hectic lifestyle has inspired her to create a brand that makes fashion easy and affordable. Her handpicked team of employees are all heavily experienced and passionate in the fashion industry, ensuring customers always have someone available for helpful advice or inspiration.
Rosanne is Mea Boutique’s resident stylist. She operates out of the new Mosman Park store and is the lady to talk to if you’re in need of any guidance when it comes to putting together an outfit. She has extensive experience in all realms of fashion; mens, womens, lifestyle and active. It has been huge part of her life ever since she can remember so there’s not doubt that she is extraordinarily passionate about the work she does at Mea. Her two favourite accessories to add to any outfit are shoes and a smile. Rosanne, like the famous song from Anne, believes that you’re “never fully dressed without a smile!”
Since Cathy can remember she has always loved clothes. Going shopping, putting together looks and letting her personality shine through her fashion makes her feel strong and confident. The way fashion is always evolving and styles from the past are revived and reshaped into todays world fascinates Cathy! She loves how that iconic tuxedo suit for women by YSL in 1966 really opened the doors to so many untapped styles within the female clothing market. But more importantly than this, it changed the way womens fashion was perceived by all. She revels in the supportive team environment at Mea and believes it is the best place for both personal expression and fun!
When it comes to anything visual, Tina has the knack for it. She has over 35 years experience in the world of fashion, running her own window dressing business before joining the team at Mea Boutique. Tina says the best thing about working at Mea is that she can use her keen eye for style to make her customers feel good about themselves through the power of clothing. She loves how the ladies that shop at Mea Boutique become more than just customers, but in fact, friends.
Demi is an open-minded experimentalist when it comes to fashion, which means she has a toolbox full of styling ideas, tips and tricks. Her own style is often influenced by the relaxed, bohemian vibe of coastal living. Yet it’s not uncommon to spot her in something structured and feminine. Her favourite things about working at Mea Boutique are the beautiful products they stock, the lovely customers she has the pleasure of meeting and being able to hear the lapping of the ocean while she works!
Kathryn has been involved in fashion for over 15 years. She loves working with the team at Mea because it’s such a close knit community with the North Beach locals making everyday enjoyable. The evolution of fashion has seen a vast spectrum of style trends from era to era. Kat loves all the decades and wishes she could live through them all and experience what each design movement stood for. Her favourite addition to any outfit is jewellery because those little added details really polish off an outfit.
Amanda is an avid lover of fashion which is expressed through her seriously large wardrobe. Her style inspiration is the iconic Audrey Hepburn because she radiates class, elegance and simplicity. Adding fun shoes and matching nails are her favourite ways to take her outfits to the next level! She loves working at Mea Boutique because its fun! Helping other women look and feel good about themselves makes her really happy, so if you’re in store and in need of some advice, or even just a little chat, Amanda’s your girl!
